Privacy Policy

Effective September 19, 2026 · DT TEAM BUILDER LLC ("we", "us")

This policy explains what information DT Team Builder (the Google Sheets add-on, the web CRM, the onboarding site and our backend) handles, where it is kept, and your choices. It applies to insurance agencies that subscribe to DT Team Builder ("agencies") and the people they invite ("users").

The core principle: your agency's client data is processed inside your agency's own Google Workspace and stored in your own Google Sheets and Google Drive. Our servers do not receive, store or copy email content, attachments, Drive files, or client details such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, policy numbers or premiums.

1. Information that stays in your Google Workspace

The add-on runs with the permissions of the Google account that authorized it, inside your Google Workspace. With your permission it processes:

Your CRM and Leads spreadsheets (client names, contact details, policy numbers, premiums, statuses, notes).
Underwriting-related Gmail messages and their attachments (only after the agency owner enables scanning).
Client folders and documents in your Google Drive (only after the agency owner enables scanning).

Results are written back to your own sheets and Drive. Technical error details are written to a hidden tab named _dttb_log inside your own spreadsheet, not to our servers.

2. Information we store on our servers

Our backend accepts technical reports only in a fixed format. Any report that contains anything outside that format — for example an email address, a subject line, a file name or free text — is rejected in full and not stored.

3. Google user data

How we use data obtained through Google APIs, including the Limited Use commitments, is described on our Google API data use page, which is part of this policy.

4. How we use information

We use the information in section 2 only to provide, secure, support and bill for DT Team Builder. We do not sell personal information, do not use it for advertising, and do not use Google user data to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

5. Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us run the service, under contracts that limit their use: Supabase (database and backend hosting), Vercel (website hosting), Stripe (payments) and Google (Workspace APIs). We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice to you.

6. Security

Data in transit is encrypted with HTTPS. Access tokens and pairing codes are stored as one-way hashes; the Google authorization in section 2 is encrypted. Access to our database is restricted to our backend services. The add-on only runs scanning under the account of the agency owner who enabled it, and stops if that permission or role is removed.

7. Your choices

Turn Gmail and Drive scanning off at any time from the add-on menu, or revoke the add-on's access in your Google Account settings.
Uninstall the add-on at any time. Your spreadsheets and Drive files remain yours.
Ask us to access, correct, export or delete the information in section 2 by emailing dattran.iaa@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.

8. California residents

If you are a California resident you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Contact us at the email below to make a request.

9. Children

DT Team Builder is a business service and is not directed to children under 16.

10. Changes

We will post changes on this page and update the effective date. For material changes we will notify agency owners by email before they take effect.
