Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of DT Team Builder: the Google Sheets add-on, the web CRM, the onboarding site and related services (the "Service"). By subscribing, installing the add-on or using the Service on behalf of an agency, you agree to these terms for that agency ("you").
1. The Service
DT Team Builder helps insurance agencies track cases, reminders and underwriting requirements in their own Google Sheets and Google Drive. The Service is a workflow tool. It does not provide insurance, legal, tax or financial advice, and it does not replace your own review of carrier communications and client files.
2. Accounts and roles
The agency owner is responsible for the account, for inviting team members, for assigning roles, and for keeping sign-in credentials and pairing codes confidential. You must be authorized to act for the agency and to grant the Google permissions the Service requests.
3. Your data
You and your agency own your data. Client information is processed inside your Google Workspace and stored in your own spreadsheets and Drive, as described in our Privacy Policy and Google API data use page. You are responsible for having the right to process your clients' information and for complying with the laws, carrier agreements and privacy obligations that apply to your agency.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Plans, prices and included features are shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe. If a payment fails, access may continue for a short grace period and then be paused until the balance is paid. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and fees already paid are not refundable except where required by law.
5. Acceptable use
You will not: use the Service to break the law or violate others' rights; attempt to access another agency's data; probe, disrupt or overload the Service; copy, resell or reverse engineer the Service except as allowed by law; or use it to send unsolicited messages.
6. Google services
The Service works with your Google account and is also subject to Google's terms. You can revoke the Service's access to your Google account at any time; some features will stop working if you do.
7. Changes to the Service
We improve the Service over time, including updating the add-on, the web CRM and the structure of the spreadsheets we manage. Spreadsheet updates only add new columns, tabs or options; we do not delete, rename or move your existing data as part of an update without asking you first.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment or a material breach of these terms. After termination, your spreadsheets and Drive files remain in your Google Workspace, and we delete the account information we hold as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Automated scanning and reminders can miss or misread information; you remain responsible for your agency's decisions and deadlines.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
12. Changes to these terms
We will post updated terms on this page and notify agency owners by email of material changes before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
